    A perfect moment
Picard and Anij take a predawn stroll at the village. Anij tells of how the Ba’ku’s isolationism was necessary, but hard to maintain, since many of the younger once are fascinated with stories of a faster pace of life; Picard remarks that many of his people would sell their souls for a simpler, more peaceful lifestyle . . . and how some of the darkest events in his world’s history have involved the forced relocation of a small group of people to satisfy the desires of a more powerful group. We learn more about the Ba’ku life . . . since they live longer, they have the time to perfect their trades, their art, their mental acuity. Picard is ever curious, but Anij tells him that given time, even he would slow down his pace of life on the planet. Anij: “have you ever experienced a perfect moment in time . . . when time seemed to stop . . . and you could almost lived in that moment . . . ” Her race has discovered that a single moment in time can be “a universe in itself.” Most people aren’t aware enough of the “now” to experience the fullness, the power of the moment. And it took the Ba’ku centuries to learn that it doesn’t have to take centuries to learn . . . –Star Trek Insurrection

When you are lonely, empty and afraid, remember this: An angel who loves and cares for you is somewhere looking for the medicine you need. Kind words are the music of the world. They have a power which seems to be beyond natural causes, as if they were some angel’s song which had lost its way and come to earth.- Frederick William FaberLiving love is the service of the moment.

It is not fearful. It can reach out and touch and share
    without abusing or corrupting.

It brings a blessing simply by its presence.

    - John-Roger with Paul Kaye
(From: Momentum, Letting Love Lead – Simple Practices for
    Spiritual Living, p. 49)

Do yourself a favor. Live honestly, with integrity, with
loving kindness and charity for your fellow beings. Your
reward will be your ability to do better and the awakening
of Spirit inside you to higher levels of _expression.

If the key is to be loving, you’ll give up every
consideration, every hesitation, and every reason not to be
loving, and you’ll be loving in every situation in your
    life.

    - John-Roger
(From: Living Love from the Spiritual Heart, p. 25)

Sometimes we all get so bogged down in the daily stresses and
anxieties of life that we tend to focus too much on the negative
    in our life.

Today, date the top of your page and number from one to ten.
Write down ten things you have to be grateful for this week. It
doesn’t matter how trivial it seems. Even if the best thing
that happened was your morning cup of coffee, put it down.

You’ll be surprised because the more you do this the more you’ll
find you have to be thankful for. It may be a struggle at
first, but it will help you see what you do have versus what you
    don’t.

    True forgiveness
is not an action after the fact,
    it is an attitude
with which you enter each moment.
    ~ David Ridge

    Every experience of accepting love
strengthens the muscles of the personality.
~ Jean Illsley Clarke & Connie Dawson
    (Growing Up Again)

Whatever your relationship with other people – lover,
spouse, friend, colleague, parent, etc. – use your Light
    consciousness to lift them.

When you bring forward the consciousness of Light through
actions (not necessarily through words), you’ll find them
    lifting.

  • Today and tomorrow’s cleanup

  • 1 poem – 29 Dec 2003

    those blue eyes

    She looked at him
    With those blue eyes
    It was like sunshine
    Clearing a cloudy day

    Sometimes in life
    He felt uncertain
but when she looked at him
    With those blue eyes
    He was sure

    And her voice
    So calm and understanding
    perfect for when
    Those storms of life
    Tore along the shore

    A light,a guiding light
    A meadow fairy
    Dancing with the butterflies
So full of love and joy
    That she made his world
    His again

    With those blue eyes
    That smiled at him
    So full of tender love
    and passions fire
    That he knew
    He belonged in
    Those blue eyes

    whisper in the stars

I hear you whisper in the stars
As they shine on me tonight
Your love is like a flowing stream
    Bathe me in shining light

In the silent night you whisper
    You sweetly sing my soul
And standing there in all your love
I know that I am whole

You sing to me sweet poetry
    Sweet angel rock me deep
Hold my soul in angel wings
    Soothe me as I sleep

  • I will be posting some older poems from poetry lists I have belonged to. They will be protected as some of them have some adult content. I will be grouping them by days so if I wrote several on the same day I will post them together. Again this is an attempt to clean up some extra sites I had with Xanga and consolidate here.

  • Closed a site and Green building Supply

Yup closed another of my many Xanga sites…trying to bring it down to this one since it is the one with the Lifetime Premium,

This was on my site for thoughts and ideas for home improvement. Basically a dream site since I can’t afford any of it now anyway.

  • Night whispers

    Night Whispers

We whispered how our hands would touch
    Our fingers would entwine
We’d walk along the sandy beach
    Your essence shared with mine

I’d feel the love in every word
    In every breath your heart
    We’d share our bliss together
    Though miles and miles apart

    Eternal bonds were forged then
    Two halves made into whole
No matter where I am now
    You live within my soul

My soul can feel your fingers
    Though more than miles divide
Our love walks through the ages
    It will not be denied

  • Please be patient….

I will be spending this weekend consolidating my xangas on to this one since this is the one with the Lifetime Premium on it. I will be putting them in either protected or private for the most part. I am doing this for the most part since signing in under several names is becoming annoying. I have other networking sites and I want to simply. I will continue to write my poetry and leave it public for the most part but my other writings and personal thoughts will be protected. If you are not on the protected list and would like to get to know me better please send me a message and let me know your xanga name and first name (just so I know who you are).

    Thanks for your patience

    Margot

  • My Most Valuable Gift

    My Most Valuable Gift

    I saw the phrase
    At once I knew
    The answer is
    The gift of you

    For with that gift
    My soul set free
    Your love revealed
    The gift of me

    The Two of us
    Here and above
    Forever linked
    The gift of love

    The priceless gift
    That fills my soul
    You are the half
    That makes me whole
